Morale seems low. Used to be a low cost location with low level of senior managers - is it still considered the same?

Typical Citi Belfast. Seems to be all males in my floor going.
The usual #WomenInFinance doing their bit. From my knowledge and others opinions, the guys going are extremely good at their jobs and professional. Beats me why others who do less for the firm get to stay.
This will not reflect well when wider group are made aware. Some cold feed already and a poor image on SLT who are corrupt as get out. You know who you are - b-m sniffers!
Belfast is closing down by the end of this year.
I have worked in Citi Belfast for a few years and resigned shortly before the pandemic, I confirm it went visibly downhill. Towards the end it seemed there was no money for anything, no social events, no projects, not even keeping up the headcount, which led to fewer workers sharing the same workload. At the end it was the most toxic job I ever had. The amount of bureaucracy and political games to further your career in that place is staggering, a few people there deserve to go
Its my understanding that UK\Belfast locations are being scaled back on. Seeing work being transitioned FROM there to other locations.
Poor place to work now. Joined 5 years ago and has went considerably downhill. I know of other departments experiencing the same with SLT holding grudges against each other. Does not reflect well if the SLT can't get along.
Graduates, look elsewhere to avoid disapointment in a corrupt firm.
joc+1qDTGSsF Share more! I can think another few on the senior "leadership" group.
Yeis, dont need 2 pipple to make the doughnuts, boote 1 of ya
What once was an advantage could now be a disadvantage.
When senior leaders in major hubs decide where to chop, it's easier to swing the axe on locations that they don't have a connection to.
