hello, would you be able to post a recap of the townhall?
Also would you be able to recap the layoffs? Was it 1,500 global? How many in Valley?
Are they coming for union workers next? Erwin?

Did they actually complete the layoffs or are these rumors based on a Jan 2023 article?
The town hall was the typical bs that the upper management spews out .
That article is from 2023 just happens to be exactly a year ago

I believe @ dlx+1qD5SQ0 is concerned that townhall info will disclose how cost efficient we will be moving forward, which may deeply scare our competitors (mostly in China)
seriously, @dlx+1qD5SQ0 ? no need for a constant reminder about what shouldn't be discussed here, we are all grown ups. besides, there is around 10k results on a terms townhall and town hall on this site, look it up. if peeps from intel and wells fargo discuss it freely without being retaliated against, i see no reason why we shouldn't.
It will be like any other communication meeting. They really won’t say much. Even WW message yesterday you had to read between the lines.
Can anyone post a recap if that(if any) is relevant to layoffs? I would discourage to discuss about anything not related to layoffs (business plans, IPs, etc).
Please don't do this. That's internal company information.
The town hall meeting is today at 930am
