It's up for auction.

Amazon should buy it. They are all about RTO and it's a nice facility.

Considering the price of real estate in Boulder, and how nice the grounds are ... it could make a very nice planned community or even senior enclave.

Would expect it to follow the same path as Mineral. Rezoned to mixed use residential. Then a combination of condos and shops. It takes a while.

no of course it's not been sold.
there would have been an announcement and a story write up about it somewhere.

gonna be a hard sell, who wants commercial realestate these days?
covid and WFH plus the delay to fully to embrace remote work put them in a bind with an asset that they can't sell. They'd be better off leasing it out in small chunks to smaller companies who require in person work and then trying to market it to commercial real estate investors. with it leased out it may be a more attractive purchase. They have away an unsellable Monroe campus as a peace offering to the community for them eventually and fully leaving that area as a Corp HQ. plus they indeed received a HUGE tax write off.

Las Vegas moved out of a building that they had leased long term in about 2010. The health district was there for maybe a year after that. It was just sold to the Water District this month after more than ten years vacant. It is in a crudy area, probably not as nice as Broomfield, but thought it might be interesting to mention.

As of this Fall, no. Since then I don't know. It's a pretty nice facility and in a more expensive location near Boulder / interlocken. I think the market might be saturated with businesses that also decided to go full remote or hybrid and the result is a real estate surprise and now high interest rates.

It's been on the market for almost a year.
