Nice to see no griping amongst the participants! Almost like the sh-t is no longer hitting the fan. Odd. Perhaps we are all afraid on the other shoe hitting the floor? Or maybe we are now converts to chaos.

Walk out, lock the doors, throw the keys down the drain and tell JRC they blew their investors money.
One of my favourite Follett quitting stories was told to me by someone else about an exhausted manager when the hours were first cut. The RM was in a closed-door meeting and saw the manager tape a note to the door. He assumed she was letting him know she was going to lunch. When he got out of the meeting, the note just said "I quit" and she'd left.
JRC is going to show a positive ROI no matter how many Senior Executives it has to hire for the Ivory Tower or how many employees and wages they have to cut in the stores.
If you can do the work of five, then why not eight?

It does look like we're going to be lone workers in stores with this "actual vs guided hours" cr-p.
So, basically, if a store has 40 hours, actually that's just for the SM leaving no hours for anyone else?
That's how it came across in the calls this week.
Remind me again how important customer service is....🤔
When you are doing the job of 5 people, when does one have time to complain? Also, if you talk sm--k about the company you get written up. We all know that we are going to lose all part timers come February 1st, so make sure you all have your s**t together before they are gone!
Next round of cuts is coming.
School just started back up this week, give it time. This is the calm before the storm.
Because most found a better job with better pay and treated better. Dont get me wrong it's still a sh-t show but nobody cares anymore. As they say time will tell.
No one has time to gripe.
