CDW is laying off Project Managers too. One thought his meeting with a senior supervisor today was to transition to a better role and get a raise because he’s worked so hard and done so well, but he got laid off. F this economy.
As mentioned in a previous post, impacted coworkers are told in an individual meeting. Coworkers who aren’t impacted receive an invite for a large group call with a senior leader. Historically, layoffs happen on a single day. If you receive a group call invite, you aren’t laid off.
The email is from HR and a senior manager on your team. It’s 20 minutes and notes to be in a remote and private location due to the sensitive nature of the call. It’s all done tactfully and as gently as possible give the circumstances.

Anyone know what the email was like? Is it the same as last year with a 20min meeting invite sometime today?
I was one of them, and in an area that was doing very well.
Looks like DX is affected as well based on a conversation I just had.
Any word on how many? DV is Digital Velocity. It's the "cloud" org within CDW that was recently announced to become it's own division... or something. They got hit really hard in the layoffs last year.
