I know EB. She is an excellent leader. She is not afraid to say what needs to be said. She listens and is intelligent, refined, respectful, and compassionate all the same. If she is a candidate for CEO, she would do well.

Sure, I am open to having EB as my mentee.

I don’t know EB personally, but I have heard that she is sharp and asks good questions. As for her succeeding Mike, and all the doubters and negative comments, I ask where is your commitment to making others better and your commitment to yourself for being the best leader you can be? If she lacks a little experience in a few areas, then help her develop. You should want her, and others around you, to succeed at whatever they do. So my challenge to you is: stop the negative comments, roll up the sleeves, and put in the work that is required so we collectively are successful and grow to our full potential.

Negativity is a cancer in teams; don’t let it be what brings us down….yes “us”, because I’m in it with you and speak from the heart.

Sláinte!

Why do you care op? As far as what we know right now, MW is the CEO and the board has extended his role. Doesn't matter who will be next until time comes.

It doesn’t matter! We can Win with anyone in that spot! Smile and wave….smile and wave….

It’s it a done deal. I could see her fumbling the CFO role in front of Wall Street.

They decided to play by the “rules” of corporate DEI. Good luck!

Chevron is "best in class" as a virtue signaler. EB is a shoe-in, although, as others have noted, she's every bit as mediocre and business clueless as MW (so much for effective succession planning in the C-suite - we had to delay MW's retirement so EB could get a bit more finishing). Don't believe me? Take a look at any (and every) position she's been in during her "rise" to the top, starting with her tutelage during the 2015 purge, then her 'role model leadership' in the FGP overspend-and-delay debacle.

The good news is she cant do much worse than MW.

She seems just as ruthless and uncaring as MW.

Unless there is a big surprise, she is penciled in as if quite a long time ago. Nobody else really fits - most are too old or too male.
