Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Can Intel AI chips challenge AMD and Nvidia?

Personally, I think the answer is a resounding "no," but I'll be happy to be proven wrong in this case.

Intel cannot catch Nvidia, let alone AMD.
It’s laughable to think that.

Everything is a moving target and Nvidia and AMD are creating solutions on a yearly cadence. At the same time both are working to materially increase the supply of hardware to get rid of the shortages.

Intel can’t even deliver step 1 of any kind of cadence. They sure do have a lot of PowerPoints though. They have to use TSMC just like everyone else so it comes down to their design prowess and software support. Best of luck with that LoL 😂.

What about Falcon Shores GPU that was publicly announced for 2025?
Will it be too late?
Thoughts?

NDVIA $ 40000 a piece in short supply
AMD tries to bring down $ 20000 a piece ready if customers wants to switch to cheaper solution to gain market shares
Intel accepts low cost or $0 free trial to hundreds or thousands of low income customers to develop and retain market shares lost. Maybe challenge in another 2 or 3 years if low income customers work hard enough and not get laid off by that time.

It's use NDVIA successful stock surge > 200% this year alone from AI demand as a marketing scam AI everywhere even in your toilet and your shitt.. Even the kids know it cannot be everywhere.

Intel’s “AI everywhere” event, while showcasing the new Gaudi3 AI chip, did not come with any revenue projections for 2024, which stands in contrast to AMD’s confident forecast of over $2 billion in AI chip revenue for the same period.

Draw your own conclusions.

A simple review of Intel's abysmal Q3 2023 earning's report is all it takes to see that revenue has been on a steady decline which suggests that the company is losing not gaining customers, especially in the DCAI and NEX groups.

No surprises there.

No way, Intel AI is not seriously considered for any data centers. Not even Intel's. Do they have an example how they use it? No.

Why is Intel positioning Gaudi3 against H100 when they are competing against H200?
Where are the data center wins? I don’t see any.

In client, meteor lake has fewer TOPS than AMD’s last gen. It isn’t even in the same universe as Apple or even Qualcomm.

It’s all a bunch of smoke and mirrors.
