Not only articles online but also in the 8K found on Crown's own website dated 12/7. While you're there on Crown's site, you'll also find the form 4 that shows CL dumping stock on 12/11.
There are articles online about the bylaws and sec filing where crown apologized for the "mistake"
What bylaws were reversed?
@1ayp+1q2cgDGR That letter was essentially a roadmap for who is going to go next. These little, petty taunts that Jay, the EMT, and Board made toward Elliott are backfiring spectacularly. In one week, Elliott had 1. the 2021 bylaws reversed 2. the CEO on this way out and 3. a reversal of an ill-considered relocation (aka a dolled-up RIF). Showing the rest of the EMT the door won't be too hard for Elliott, given they've already secured Jay's departure.
There is no way Dan is staying; he's part of the mess. He's unrepentant in his stance on fiber, etc. and the way Crown's money was spent. He and CL literally think they are visionaries. More like delusional.
From Elliott's last letter:
"For example, one day after the release of our materials (in which we detailed our analysis of the value-destructive Fiber business), Crown Castle announced that the COO of the underperforming Fiber business would be made COO of the Tower business as well, after a “monthslong external and internal search.” Many observers shared with us that “tone deaf” was their immediate reaction to this news, and we agree. Those that think CL and his bad fiber decisions will be a part of Crown this time next year are just delusional.
Crown Castle was underperforming compared to AMT and SBA well before fiber. Proof me wrong!

@pnr+1q2cgDGR lol Jay also said he wouldn’t go. I bet you believe he retired. You notice how they all say the same thing. They all believe in the strategy blah blah. It’s call talking points and staying on script. When those talking points change you will see the next change.
Dan why are you still drinking Jay’s fiber and small cell Cool-Aid? You would have thought that Elliott taught you a lesson via what happened to Jay. Some people are slow to learn.
It doesn’t matter what Dan says. All that matters is what Elliott wants. If they want the fiber gone, which it seems they do, fiber will be gone.
This is how rumors start. He did say that everything is for sale however he also said that he believes in the small cell and fiber strategy… don’t pick and choose what you want people to hear.
So now Dan is staying? Is that right?
