Can’t seem to understand why even after so many layoffs and paycuts, people seem to boast about Seagate like wandering with id cards in schools and grocery shops.

Um, maybe you’re busy with life or whatever and forgot to take it off. Pragmatism when used gently can be very effective.

The problem isn't the company at large. I don't mind sharing with people where I work and I have no problem with my job role or the people I work with and have no reason to walk around slamming my job.
Now the executives and their activist shareholder(s) are another story. I don't have much good to say about them lately. They pretty much sapped my enthusiasm and the Huawei incident is embarrassing and Mosley still won't apologize to his employees. Doubling down on your entrenched rationalizations doesn't make your employees feel any better over your stupid decision Dave!
