Sure thing!! It makes perfect sense to fire every single employee at Fort Hills and hire all new ones! That won't cause any problems at all with production or safety! And training thousands of new people is dirt cheap!

Still have to reduce the cost of production by $5.00 somehow. Freddie’s bonus hangs on it !!

I could see it going to 2on/2 off to reduce flights but they would have to relocate everybody or hire all new staff if they stopped fifo. Doubtfull!

I hope this is true. People bus up to Aroura daily. Make work weeks Monday-Thursday and I think there will be a lot of excitement.

It would be nice to help support the Fort McMurray housing market and economy after all the damage from all these layoffs. I feel like something needs to be done. But it’s also far, it’s be like 2.5 hours on the bus every day for those going back and forth.

I don’t see that ever happening. The drive is way too long.

Where did you hear this rumour? Is this just floating around or is there any evidence they are taking this action? Hard to believe when they are currently building a new camp onsite for contractors.
