Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Tracy Kerrins should be let go

Tracy Kerrins (Technology head - direct of CEO) in her town hall talked about “bumps” and having to “pause” to stabilize. These are also known as freezes that prevent almost all CHG work.

We have had multiple unexpected freezes this year. Having two (!) in Q4 is crippling.

She and at least some of her leadership team need to be shown the door.

It’s come to the point that I have zero faith in any leadership that Wells hires. Their virtuous hiring practices have proven to be an absolute failure.

Apparently her team announced EPIC the other day. Can anyone articulate what our strategy and priorities are now with epic? I guarantee you could with SVB 6 S strategy…..see the difference?

To boot, she’s not a great leader either. Even as she lacks key knowledge, if she has strong leadership skills, it would maybe even out. But she’s a nervous nelly, doesn’t command an audience, doesn’t excite us, make us buy in, doesn’t have a vision, can’t articulate said vision and strategy nor priorities. It’s kinda a mess. What are our priorities? Rainbow lanyards, DEI, tshirts, RTO, endless things that don’t matter to the core operations?

Saul had a good grasp of technology and modern practices and what is occurring in the marketplace. TK is solely in her role for DEI as she is in no way close to her predecessor in knowledge or skill.

@scr+1pwcgm1EThis is not a in the job learning position. It’s leadership of a $10B mega operation that requires incredible stability and vast knowledge of many domains. Shes in over her head.

Please have some patience with TK's performance to date. While it is evident she does not yet possess every skill needed in her current position it is also obvious she does have a great deal of experience from her other positions.

She will get it it straight, will just take more experience.

@dus+1pwcgm1E Why do you want to lengthen your employment?
You should always be finding a new job. The joys of being functional outweigh the toxicity of a dysfunctional job.

Charlie should be let go too. His performance "does not meet" the expected standard.

Dysfunction lengthens all of our employment though.

I root for the dysfunction. I don't want to find a new job.
