I see VPs and fellows get promoted with salary hikes. I thought limited cycle promo is only for grade 8 or lower. Apparently it’s the opposite. Management have money for promotion and traveling but when it comes to lower levels, the company is broke. Agree?
It’s been two years with no raise and the removed salary percentiles to not show how underpaid you are.

VP and Exec VP promotions on the rise as product teams struggle for resources to meet tight deliverables… what’s new?
Isn't it obvious by now that Intel promos are just a third world circle jerk?
Gravy train is on the move again?
"Intel's best days are long behind it and there's very little chance of a full recovery"
they are counting on US bailouts
because we need them
welcome to the joke called our market
Ran like the CCP.
Don't listen to what Intel sh-t say or excuse.
Observe how they rip off employee benefits for their interest.
I will call them for debt collection with high interest soon.
Intel's best days are long behind it and there's very little chance of a full recovery. Now days the best case scenario is that the company finds a niche market that they can excel in and become profitable again.
The sad truth is that if Intel closed it's doors today there are many other options customers can choose from. They simply don't have the market cornered in anything anymore and can no longer charge a premium like they used to.
@ del+1pwEuX4I that’s an excuse. They can give RSU to lower level as well. Money is money in any form :)
If you don’t like it, why stay?
Your leaders don’t respect you.
Why should you be loyal to them?
The company does not have enough cash. Exec promotions are happening with stock incentives, not cash. For lower grades 8 and below, they need to give cash incentives which the company does not have
Intel lack of transparency and integrity nowadays
I’d like to spread my 2+ FTE around too, oh wait, only execs are allowed to do that.
Funny that in Intel a VP reports to another VP :)
Its just totally insane. They would say that out of cycle promotions are not common and here I see folks getting upgraded to VPs every other day. Its just totally insane.
