Good people left and they are joining microsoft, google, etc and many more to go, left out are just looking after their own interest and retirement. Some have stolen work of others and got promoted.
Job market is not that good and I don’t think DCAI has talent to turnaround the org. Look at who gets promoted here.
If "... demoralized and no motivation to work hard. Everyone doing a bare minimum and sitting to see what happens." is not below average... the bar has been set way way too low. People are being paid hundreds of thousands of dollars to wait around for something to happen? This is what Intel has become.

their stock may be high but
what do they actually produce
(not saying Intel is good though)
the future does not appear very bright or exciting as it once did
I don’t like to categorize people as average or below average. They are all great in my view, just demoralized and no motivation to work hard. Everyone doing a bare minimum and sitting to see what happens. Once market conditions become better you will see flow of people leaving to competitors and that moment, it will be too late for intel to keep them. I have done my part to let leaders of company take an action and so far have seen nothing.
