The new organization charts are out. In my department we now have a GM with three reports. One of which is a Director with two. The other is a Manager with one. Third guy has none. Fortunately I still have a job as a contributor.

It’s not just SCM! We have full of Maintenance Coordinators and Planners who does know what they’re doing. No wonder the site performance is always like a dog’s breakfast.
I forsee more cuts or forced retirements to come. This particular Director has 35 years Suncor / Petro-Canada service. Time to be put out to pasture.
SCM is the same old dysfunctional sh**. They just recycled the same staff who were a lost cause!
