Thread regarding ViaSat Inc. layoffs

More layoffs coming

Assuming they're over for now, expect another round of layoffs before the new fiscal year, April 2024. Viasat isn't going to be making money to support its employees for a long time after their failed satellite launch and abomination of an acquisition with Inmarsat.

Exactly what @dtc+1po2pOoy said. Bumping this to the top so more people can see it.

Clearly they missed one since all you know how to do is copy and paste the same exact message in multiple threads. Shouldn't you be working instead of trolling these message boards?

Pu--y. Things are good now and the stock is BOOMING!!!! We got rid of the excess weight and the most emotionally unstable people. Look at this forum and how childish they are. P&C chose the right people to cut! GLORY TO VIASAT!!!!

The useless segways were $20k down the drain, Chris York was the one to buy them. They are paying the Securitas guards contract $35 an hour to do nothing, but the contract will never be canceled since Chris York gets a cut of it. Complete and total corruption. Thinking of calling the DoD fraud, waste, and abuse line since they are doing layoffs of so many loyal employees but don’t cut the tens of thousands wasted every month on corruption.

My previous company had the sense to cancel the holiday parties after a layoff because of how bad it would look. Will viasat cancel the ones that have already been announced?

100%. They're fu---d leverage wise on debt, expect them to close regional offices and try to shed some more weight to survive.
