Thread regarding Lumen Technologies layoffs

Dare to Lead...Still?

How do we continue to pay for this writer and program? how about add it to the STOP list? Lay off 1200 people and hope a book club turns around these leaders...

I guess the recent trans (continental) manatee festival about the same thing DTL preaches about white private ledge isn't again so well

I don't understand, are you saying it would be OK to lose what ever monies were paid to BB for DTL part 2 if Lumen decides to cancel?
Only Lumen would sign such a stupid contract without a cancelation clause and then turn around cancel it.

BTW, DTL is terrible and it's not going to have the desired results.

Kate showed her vunerabily when she flew over the carnage of 1200 Lumen Humans (what a stupid phrase) 2 days after she laid them off just before the holidays, to buy her million dollars of Lumen stock. What a cold heartless Bi--h!

Do you think BB hasn't already cashed the check for the second round of DTL that got delayed & is picking back up in January? Do you think she is offering a refund if part 2 is canceled?

I have a feeling the same people complaining about it continuing would be the first people to complain about losing the money and not doing it - you know, the same roughly 33% that think it's cool to inject the word "woke" into everything as many times as possible while everyone else just rolls their eyes.

Well they already confirmed they were returning to DTL in January. I could hear and feel the virtual BOO(s) coming across the frozen video feeds.

Yet some say to stop the woke talk but there are numerous woke themes in this book. I read it.

Some compared Brene to a semi-woke version of Tony Robbins.

Here is a quote I found on forum about DTL ....

"The greatest causality of trauma is vulnerability itself. When we think about the world we live in right now, we think about how many people are subjected to trauma everyday just based on race, ethnicity gender immigration. Racism is trauma. Oppression is trauma. So in addition to these personal strategies for recovering and re-integrating vulnerability every single one of us has the responsibility to work for a world that is more just, more equitable and safer for everyone because no one deserves to live in trauma every single day because of who they are in the world."

This is exactly what happens when you outsource jobs to India. Sure, you can save money the first year. However, it’s costs you after that point! Hope that works out for you folks! That VSPP 2 years ago was brilliant! At least I got paid and in to a better job in the market! Good luck to all!

How about we do what our customers need and support and care for them. Instead of taking their money.

Seriously. Let’s avoid everything that is happening. Why aren’t

  1. 1 million dollars paid for failed 911
  2. Customers leaving because they can’t get a response
  3. Customers service down for over 1 month
  4. Tons of billing errors, Rerates, and credits being handed out.
  5. Investor Lawsuits.

So are they really trying to fix it or they trying to continue to Dump what they don’t want to deal with.

Exactly, make sure to support Brene on the way out. Sorry you lost your job, but here is a book to motivate you
