The person who posted that Cigna is full of angry people sounds like an outsider to Cigna and a troll. Stress and anxiety are high. Let's focus on supporting each other. You are all in my thoughts and prayers for tomorrow (and February)....

To This person: "Wow people at Cigna are very angry people! Not only do you attack management, you attack your equals. Maybe layoffs are necessary to start fresh."

People at Cigna are angry because we work everyday under the pressure of knowing that at any minute we could lose our livelihood. We're watching co-workers who have been here for up to 35 years being let go with no explanation. We're being given double the work to cover for the lost employees and the layoff's aren't even acknowledged by the company. People are scared and our lives are essentially on hold while we wait to see will we have a job when we wake up tomorrow morning? Should we buy Christmas gifts now, should we be looking for another job, should we plan for vacation, should we plan for upcoming surgeries, cars, houses, etc.
So yeah- people are angry and bringing in new people that are faced with the same scenario, isn't going to make a difference. People work to survive and no one likes to feel like they're in limbo.

If this article is anything to go off on, we all might as well start looking for other opportunities.

To the person that said "people are angry and maybe layoffs are needed for a fresh start" clearly hasn't been affected and doesn't have to worry about paying their bills or putting food on their table oh and let's not forget finding another damn job!!!! You better hope you don't lose yours eventually!!! Lots of us spent YEARS/ ENTIRE CAREERS there and have every damn right to feel that way, it's completely justified!!

I think layoffs are happening now, not waiting until 11/9? Thoughts?

I hate combing through 4 different threads on the same layoffs. we should just have one master thread to make it easier on everyone.

No people come here everyday looking for updates, when you clutter it with the same exact question as the post under you, it’s annoying.
