Town Halls are just to give corporate lip service- they don't give any details that really relate to the front line workers.... it's all show for the C-Suite... Don't expect any straight talk until you are told you are no longer needed and that is it. I have worked at 3 different Centene companies and all 3 have been the same- bully leadership style and throw work at you with no training or realistic expectations. I just put in my 2 week notice as I cannot take it anymore. Good luck you all... I feel bad for those that have to pick up even more slack but I warned my TL for months that it was too much work- and she didn't do anything.

I feel like forcing us back to the office would cost them more as I believe they sold a lot of their buildings.

They should rent another stadium. That was such a good look last time.

I bet it’s back to the office and if you don’t go back you’re gone. This is their way of doing the next round of layoffs.

I bet they’re going to tell us to not expect raises and bonuses. And/Or that due to company performance, they want is back in the office x days per week. Total speculation on my part but I’m sure it has been discussed.

Both of the above will help shed more bodies without severance to pay.

Happy Holiday’s, ya’ll.

Is it maybe to discuss the new "restructuring" of departments? I know in Health Net (I was part of the August layoffs) under Provider Relations where I was for 20+ years they are restructuring everything and even part of Federal Services is being restructured. Supposedly it's supposed to start in December and January.

They spent less than 3 minutes addressing the layoffs - if you even want to call what they said "addressing" anything at all. They had and additional 55 minutes to talk about United Way but yeah they were to busy demeaning their employees telling them how horrible of a job we are doing and how its all our fault they are incompetent followed by dog po-p and ice cream fu-kery.

Maybe it's to discuss United Way? I don't remember them discussing it on the last town hall, maybe because they had to address the layoff leak instead? I agree, it is definitely fishy to have a town hall so close after the last one.

I look forward to getting another good laugh. Laughter is good for the soul.

Strange to have own so soon after the one in Tampa. Something’s up? Maybe?

Or they’re about to run another pulse survey and want to boost their results.

Or force is back to the office. (Eff that)

Agreed. Totally raised red-flags and sirens when I saw that email. I don't remember having another town hall so soon from the last in the entire time I have worked here going on 6 years.

And underpaid. Start looking now if you haven’t already. You shall see that y’all are underpaid, based on the market. Blessing in disguise!

Yeah it’s very odd to have another one already…. But I’ve heard so much that “more layoffs are coming” that I’m not surprised . Just rip the bandaids off already . I’m tired of being overworked under all this stress.
