Use maternity leave, get no raise no bonus. Anyone else?

When you're on short term disability, I don't believe you're technically an active employee. You're just 'guaranteed' the same or similar job upon return after your absence is complete. They can't pay a bonus to any employee not actively employed on 3/15.
Is it illegal?
Didn't use maternity leave. Small raise. Bonus.
How much of the year were you out? Why would you expect a raise and bonus?
Exactly, compensation and bonus details are shared in March not now.
They haven't even done ratings yet so not sure why anyone is telling you anything about compensation.
