They should title the RIF meetings "you're free now".
Leadership should lean into their d-mb euphemisms and title the meetings "Workforce Optimization Discussion."

Could they just stop with the fluffy "touch base" and impromptu "1:1" subject line, just be honest. We've all figured out the catch phrases by now.
