I think they should move all R&D to a fishing village in Canada.
So right, "VPs in R&D v closed minded and operate with favourites and proximity bias" especially in DHT one can see many dinosaurs roaming around. We need a few VP/Sr Dir heads be rolled out. But, method is keep changing mid-manager and L7 and above keep intact ..
Agree. A very poorly run company tbh. Everything centralised to San Diego and Sydney in Engineering - both high cost locations with restricted talent pool. If u work in R&D in any other location, your opinion matters little even if u are much better positioned to make call . VPs in R&D v closed minded and operate with favourites and proximity bias and then they expect you to join calls at all hours of the night and day
