Did anyone else get a notice that the sick time they granted during covid is being revoked on Monday? They just won't let employees have anything nice.

I got it too, but piece of advice Use It or lose it. It's not paid out ( sick time ) having 200 is a lot. Try to maybe take sick days from time to time . Nothing will happen if you do it casually, got RiF'ed with over 200 hours sick time which goes back to Elevance pocket.
I got RIF’d on 9/21 (still trying to get hired somewhere), and they wouldn’t grant me the 7 PTO days I’d already earned this year (the joke was on me to actually have rolled over time from last year and saved up time for later in the year). HR told me they decided to change the policy in 2021 to not pay that out unless you live in 1 of a handful of states. It’s a very low move to not give employees the time they earned. It’s an extra punch in the gut, since I was an Exceeds employee, too. I think I will always be bitter about this company.
We never got Covid sick time beyond the initial federal mandates in my state. That su-ks they’re cutting yours as well. Sure wish congress would step in & monitor these executive salaries though! 300% increases post Covid!!!
what does this mean? and how do you know? I checked my sick time and still see the 200 hours I am allowed to carry over.
I did. I spoke to 2 others on my team who did not at this point.
This is just one of many signs of either greed or money troubles for Elevance.
Glad to know it wasn’t just me!
