Viasat has peaked.... multiple layoffs in the past few years. This company is a slow sinking Titanic.... if you're one of the lucky ones that made the cut... are you really considering a future there? This company has the mentality of too big too fail. Cronyism, complacency, and Nepotism will be your Blockbuster video moment! Can we get a request before getting let go? Can i get some chicken sandwiches as part of my severance? Shame on you Viasat!

He would try to cut everyone without giving severance, just look what happen to Twitter folks…
I mean I think most people have to consider their exit strategy. But it is still nice right now to have more time on the life raft. Tech market is brutal right now and many companies are no safer.
There are good ones out there that don't have an excuse to cut, but it is really competitive to land those positions. Better to have some time to prep while still employed.
