Every year I fill this thing out and nothing changes. More layoffs than ever, never a raise insight. What better way to show our collective distain for the same old bullsh-t is to ignore their request.

There is no way the results of the survey are accurate. No f'ing way.
As a manager, I would love the opportunity to provide input on my ineffective upper management’s annual review and bonus. We as direct line managers take the blame on employee survey’s. However, we are not the ones making the poor decisions that are leading the company in the wrong direction.
That must be a manager above that is promoting the survey…but lets see if you still feel that way when your position is eliminated. Believe me when I say a positive survey and good numbers wont save you.
It’s a waste of time to fill out the surveys because corporate will “adjust” the numbers in the end. I don’t know how Windstream ends up on these “Best Company for (military veterans, single mothers and people who love puppies).” It’s a bunch of cr-p.
I've never seen a company with more bloat and inefficiencies.
They could lay off more than half the staff in just about every department and there would still be too many people. Everyone has an inflated title and subsequtently some have hyper-inflated sense of duty. The HR department is full of crazy cat lady Na-i's that do a really poor job of making a functional setup for the rest of the organization. Logging on to the internal platform is like jumping into a time machine and going back to Y2K. The house needs to be cleaned, people need to be purged. This company is a rotting corpse filled with headless chickens.
They’d just continue their inconsistencies of not applying their policies fairly, picking and choosing the ones to enforce the “rules” on while letting some employees still lie, cheat, sleep around, and steal.
If you didn't fill out this survey, what would the HR ladies do all day?
My manager would send an email to me and a couple others letting us know we had not taken the survey so if they know who hasn't taken it then how is it anonymous?? When they send you the email and your login is part of your name lol yeah. And i wouldn't help get them a bonus that they don't deserve.
Not sure what dept you are in but that is not the real world where I am. Management doesn't care if you stay or go and theres no going to them and asking for a raise and getting it because they don't want you to leave. What ever numbers they want/look at can be manipulated to suit their needs. Always been this way.
Filled mine out already. And things have changed a little bit. If you want a raise or promotion, you need to identify what quantitative/qualitative data makes you better than your peers on paper, and identify what training you need to be better at your job. Improve yourself and then talk to your supervisor about a raise. Don't get it, find a company that will pay you your worth. The only person keeping you from getting a raise is you.
You can apply for jobs in other departments and your supervisor will see you applying. When they ask, just let them know you are trying to what is best for yourself and family. If you are worth it, they'll find a way to keep you... or you will get a better job.
Did you know when you fill out that survey your Manager gets a kick back on each person that fills out the survey.
The survey is anonymous. The only way someone could tell is if it’s by your writing style. You should all fill them out by the deadline to influence positive changes here at Windstream/Kinetic. You are appreciated as employees and look forward to you bringing change you can believe in that benefits all. Thanks for showing up today.
spoiler alert...the survey is not anonymous
Yea it’s like fake news
I plan on filling it out and referencing this site for the REAL truth.
Lmao who fills it out anyway? Waste of time. NOTHING ever changes i gave up filling it out years ago
