The most important job of the board of directors is to hire and fire the CEO, clearly this one has proven to be inept , what is the board waiting to fire Sarah?

This company makes no sense, is all I can say. It certainly feels like there is no direction. A new CEO would be very refreshing, this one is a mess.
Yes,the CPO is the worse, no personable, just a gossiping machine trying to cover it a-s
Centene is one of the largest players in the US, I never understood why after Neidorf they didn't retain an executive recruiting firm and try to bring someone solid in the industry. They put Sarah there who was just selling IT ideas in optum ventures , what a bullsh-t decision
The board, comprised of mostly new people picked by one large shareholder, knows exactly what they are doing. All of this is by design. I don't believe Sarah is calling the shots. I believe she is just a front facing figurehead while they systematically dismantle the company from within. Why? To make it more appealing to a buyer.
LMAO - you have to write a book putting down other people to defend someone who quite literally has proved to the world how incompetent she is. Talk about being a coward hiding behind a keyboard. It's laughable to think anyone would be offended by your obvious self loathing and insecurities. Nothing but pure projection. And speaking of brown nosing - your head is so far up Centene's a-s the taste of sh-t must be overpowering.
I think Sarah did herself a huge disfavour but choosing that Tanya as people officer, she is not a " people" person for sure , and the lack of transparency and double standards on how things are being handled are just unprecedented and giving a really bad press to Centene.
Centene is getting quite the reputation for being a shady company, leave alone poor performance . Certainly a new CEO is long overdue
Right the board picked her,now it has the duty to remove her. Why it has to be that complicated
Sarah is not good, I had a different opinion but after seeing the lack of transparency and some the shady moves in the org , it is just as bad as can be.
As a shareholder I want the bi--h out. What a big fraud
@1qxq+1pnczrHN
you are just bootlicker loser with a big ego, I can see you crying under the bed when you get fired and getting your nose brown all day to keep your job, Sarah is one of the many frauds out there in Corporate, everybody knows it, despite the whole propaganda apparatus to make her look like she is the sh-t. She is nothing but a nobody with luck, a scam, a fraud , the only thing she inherited from Neidorf was a great opportunity and all she has done is waste it in the air.
lol. All these hotshots here with their “burn the witch” pitchforks raised high in the air.
You’re so smart, right? You’re the hardest working person you know, yes? You could do it better? You could fix all the cr-p left by MFN?
No. You couldn’t. You aren’t good enough. You aren’t smart enough. You don’t work hard enough. You don’t have the skills or talent to keep the job you have, if you still have one at all.
Complain all you want, but you’re still the keyboard warrior anonymously posting on a website. That’s you.
Yet, she was picked to run a giant company. Picked by smart, hard working people. People that work harder than you. People that do more than rant incessantly online.
But yeah, it’s all her fault. She’s the problem. Keep telling yourself that. Look in the mirror, mo--ns.
And no - I’m not HR. No, I’m not a leadership shill. It’s not the PR team.
I’ll be blamed for that, but in reality I just want to work with higher caliber people.
Do people feel motivated to work hard because of Sarah? No,
Do people feel intimidated by her? No
Do people think she is somehow making anything better? No
Most are just trying to figure out and play the game and hoping this clicky lunatic with power does not fire me while she is holding that job, hoping there is a voice of reason replacing her soon so we know what we are doing.
When London was handed that job people were, how cool a woman CEO that is youngish, now after seeing she has done not only to Centene, but to a lot of people that are solid in the industry, everybody is, well, what a piece of work, she never should have gotten that job, what a bad decision they made, sure Neidorf is feeling it in his grave what they are doing
Dear Board,
Just for the sake of the shareholders that have purchases the stock and believed in Centene, please give us another CEO that can start putting the company in the right path again before is too late.
Just a feeling, but my guess is that the board is waiting till January 2024 and the full year 2023. The last numbers posted were decent but there have been a lot of selloffs and I know there was a big layoff that's effective in December. But if Walgreens heave ho'd their DEI hire Roz Brewer when they got into massive revenue/profit trouble and replaced her with a pasty retired early 60s guy but with tons of related healthcare experience and success, Centene could too. Hey, they could make Ken Burdick an offer he couldn't refuse, though he has his own company now and several board positions. ;-) Only a former WellCare person and shareholder, but observer and writer about the changes roiling HC.
We live in the new Era of social media, catchy words and narratives. An imposter like Sarah can make it to CEO just "illuminating " how great things are with a bunch of nonsense
" strategic bridge" a bunch of people out of their minds.
Board fall asleep with Centene, Sarah is doing things worse, she is not fixing or addressing issues, she is indeed defaulting to the old model since all the mess she is creating is coming to fruction
Wrong CEO for that company. A lot high school style drama with her and the hrs friends while the company falls apart.
They put there because she is a woman. A DEI hire,Nothing strategic or good about her being there.
Their primary job, their fiduciary responsibility, is to create value for the shareholders and guide the business to do so.
They put her there as a strategic bridge to get past the mess left by MFN.
