To all my fellow former employees on this thread. I am sorry this happened to you, and pray that there is something much better in store for you. Yesterday was a very sad day for us all. And the the future of the company as we have seen since the last merger has gotten dimmer and dimmer.
Agree was much better before merger with L3. Centurylink cared about the customer and took care of them, now they can stay out for days.
Story and all mang have built so many layers to protect them self.
That's why they built several companies to do the same thing, so they can justify allthe management.
Same here. Senior planner. 8 years. the place has stunk ever since the merger. Level 3 was great prior to the merger.

I was informed of my lay off today as well. My VP called me and broke the news. Digital Experience team.

It is coming! 4% staff reduction plus unknown amount of contractors. You will get the notification probably today. Not a troll we all knew it was coming. Good luck all. My guess is most will be around the copper side, it has been slow for years.
True a Lumen employee would have allot more to say.

We just got the email today tech ops side. No information about who specifically is getting lumped in with the 4% - our union didn’t get notification.
