No need for BV since no one’s Buying Viasat! …Too soon?
Today they fired core US team for Buy Viasat (senior devs, QA, design)
Weeks earlier they mentioned that offshore team will be impacted too.
It seems like a cost cutting going well and the strategy is clear.
Really wishing nothing bad to Viasat, because it was already a shaking boat. I just hope that a bunch of clowns at upper management start doing something productive instead of talking buzzwords and giving false promises.
They cut plenty of people on the design team even those who were on PTO today. If no call today, you’re safe.
As for team setup, MV and BV were heavily gutted with some key key players let go. Don’t think anything good is coming for GFB for those of us left
Someone on PTO was laid off today. You would have received call by now.
Pretty sure I heard security cut 3 of their own last month? They probably new the RIF was coming so they cut their own first to prepare?
Maybe they waiting for you to get back to can you? Take your time and enjoy your time off, don’t answer your phone lol
