250 in DFS, 89 of that were underwriters and AEs. Almost every UW was fully remote

Buyers and sales reps were definitely hit
So the layoffs are complete in DFS. I wish we knew who/what departments & titles were hit.
I was laid off yesterday. DFS and under 45. I was hired fully remote. My husband thinks that may have something to do with it - pushing to get back in the office. Anyone know how many? I know of one other.
I know of two long term employees who were let go yesterday.
The team member I laid off was not in DFS and was well under 45.
I know of 4 today, only one was over 45. So age not a factor.
Unless you know everyone that was let go then the fact that you don't know anyone under 45 that was let go is immaterial.

There is no possible way that it's based solely on age.
DFS getting hit today. Again based on age. Horrible what is happening to Ally. Obviously, the layoffs announced by JB 3 weeks ago are only the start. There seems to be no other reasons for the layoffs other than age. Sickening. Employees left standing really need to look in the mirror and ask themselves is this the type of company you want to work for?
