Thread regarding Citigroup Inc. / Citibank / Citi layoffs

Layoff….smayoff…..

Layoffs…..recession….2nd round of layoffs….blah…blah…blah…
Oh sure Citi will use fear to enforce coming back into the office, working longer hours, doing more with less and even shortening deadlines. That’s a old page from the Citi playbook.

In my opinion, this is an very exciting time. Eventually the recession will subside and the job market will bo-m. Just wait it out at work, and make your move. Once the job market gets hot, use linkedIN job search engine. They have filters for work remote and salary filters.

Once you find something and get an offer, then its YOUR turn to lay Citi off.

@iemm, I agree. This should not be taken lightly. Companies everywhere are laying off. It's not to be taking lightly, at all.

The next collapse will be major, and will happen in the very near future. Americans have over 1 trillion dollars in credit card debt collectively. Companies are laying off people left and right. Prices have skyrocketed for most products and services and have not dropped at all. Real estate values are beginning to fall. Companies are offering starting salaries well-below what they should be offering. The country is very near a breaking point, in my opinion.
