Age discrimination

So many people over 50 were laid off that I think there is a basis for an age discrimination lawsuit. I know nobody will want to risk their severance but it makes me so mad to see Resmed do something so blatantly unfair and most likely illegal and get away with it.

Resmed patient success representative. I was let go today for not being fast enough. Started 8/24 and was on a warning when I couldn't learn the entire job in 2 weeks. They changed their entire platform and can't get sales because of economy. I'm over 65 and they let me go today.

I was let go, and I'm over 50 but many of the people that were let go that I know were under 50. I'm not sure if we would have a case, but will mention it to my lawyer.

Hmmm I don't think there is anything there to be honest. Even if it were true, it would be easy enough to tie to other relevant factors like costs as in general, the younger employees cost less.

Would be very difficult to actually prove anything
