Anymore layoffs since Monday?
Oh, and it was just announced that almost a million people missed their first student loan payment since they restarted. Not a good sign.
People don’t want to believe it but it’s coming. You can either prepare or bury your head in the sand. Chase just laid off a massive amount of employees the auto servicing division on Monday. They aren’t the only bank doing this. Stock market has already entered correction territory.
Job market is going to continue to get worse before it gets better. The. Its issue is part of it. AI is part of it. The economy and stock market performance is part of it. I think 2024 is going to be a bad year for this country. Vehicle repos are up, mortgage delinquency is up. Inflation is still out of control with no end in sight.
Will the job market be worse after government changes the laws regarding working visa?
Will there be another wave after this week?

I would imagine the whole week. This round seems to be a lot quieter than last which makes me think it more than just a today thing.
