My actual sub pay plus unemployment is less than my pay was. It should be more since 401k isn't deducted. They lied sub pay is $100 a week less than it should be.

Since they decided to use the DOL to foot some of the bill. You man want to call your state Department of Labor and see if they can help you.
They sent my estimated weekly amount it the sub pay portal. It is regular pay, the deduct taxes including Medicare tax. After taxes the weekly amount is 70%, from that they deduct unemployment, leaving about $370 as sub pay. Not even near my usual take home.
First SUB payments won’t occur until 11/10. The paycheck on 10/27 covered the last two weeks of employment with the company (10/7 to 10/20). The first SUB payment on 11/10 covers 10/21 to 11/3.
I may have misunderstood this but someone told me that if you’re laid off but have a certain amount of years and age that you’re not required to file for unemployment but you’ll get the severance pay for the amount of time eligible. Anyone know if that’s true?
I'm not sure why you are saying it's less since they don't take Medicare or SSN deductions out of your SUB payment. They will continue health insurance and some other deductions but total pay while on SUB/unemployment will be significant higher than my normal paycheck. Think something is wrong with your statement especially since the first week of unemployment isn't deducted from SUB as the state doesn't pay week 1.
