I was ghosted on one. Another one took a month for a no. Another one I was told they had a better candidate. I give up c a real sh&t show
It all depends on the hiring manager and anything outside the job posting parameters (e.g., asking for a 20% salary bump). Those requests need to go through a whole host of approvals.
This place has 40,000 (and counting) layoffs on it's dismal record. Why in the world would anyone care about interviews here?
48 Hours
Same day
Within a week, like 2 or 3 days for me.
The corporate world is a little strange when it comes to this verbal offer thing. It could reasonably be another 2 weeks. They may even pull the offer and say they covered the job from the inside. Good luck.
you are better off going to salary.com.
Certainly Wells material. Coming to layoff.com and asking about an offer from what is clearly a dumpster fire if you browsed at all.
There is no standard for this. Answer: it varies
I've seen cases where it was a week, and others where it's 2 months. There's no right answer anyone here can provide to you because it's all over the map.
it's always been about a week to a week and 1/2 from final interview for me.
Why would you want one?
Approximately 9 weeks from final interview to verbal offer. 2 days later offer “rescinded” and condition now placed that I’d need to relocate and/or report to a hub — even though we explicitly discussed my current location through the entire interview process and I was advised by both the Recruiter and the hiring manager that it was not an issue.
My experience was 5 weeks between interview and verbal offer.
Its been 3 weeks, I am assuming its a no
with all the hiring freezes going on right now it could be months or it could be never. In my experience,.if you make it to the final round then you should hear something within a few weeks. You can always email the recruiter letting them know your still interested and if they have an update. If they really want you but the req was frozen they may reach out to you letting you know it could he a while if at all. If you didn't make it to the final round then you may get a boiler plate rejection email at some point.
If you haven't heard by now, it's a no. Sorry.
I would wait for the next offer, to be honest. Wells is a sinking ship!
Why would want to join this mess? The lack of communication and guidance about your offer is no surprise. This is a terrible place.
