We know that this leadership (can we even call them that?) only knows how to react to bad quarters with more layoffs. There isn't a chance they're going to miss this opportunity to get rid of more people to artificially and temporarily fix the numbers. I'm betting you we'll be hearing about more cuts in the next few weeks.

Prepare for Kona
Why stay then you ask vs. leave now? Good question. 1) I like the work and people I work with. 2) I'm old...er and I prefer to fill out another few years prepping where my existing knowledge is valued and respected. 3) I'd rather leave with a max package if it happens. 4) The technology is still interesting to me and I'm learning new things still. 6) I can mentally handle a constant layoff risk due to being well prepared. So, I'm a millionaire now but you'd never know it due to 50% income saving all those years. 7) I found I can live decent and happy on 50% income and support a family after dropping the I deserve the best of everything right now type of mindset.
@ifh+1piurhAw your explanation is to be respected; that's one h€ll of a way to live Why keep waiting over starting the search?
A rumor saying that almost no layoff at this round. Anyone can confirm it?
Amen to that Post ID: @ifh+1piurhAw
Been prepared for 4 years. Office has been cleared empty since then. Saving 50% of my income. Paid off all debt and even paid down the mortgage to 20% of house value. Kept expenses real low. Trained and invested in getting 3rd party certifications and learning additional skills. Been working minimum hours efficiently and effectively with a mercenary mindset the whole time loyal only to my personal goals. Skipping unnecessary meetings, especially from top management. Resume's up and job searches ready to go. Ready for anything. Not sure what more I should do?
