Thread regarding Crown Castle International Corp. layoffs

The waiting is brutal especially with no consistent expectations or guidance for leaders to show care for their teams. I didn’t think my manager could be any more of a jerk but has essentially ghosted me since the announcement and not reached out once.

Why should I try to do my best work if my leader can’t even ask how I’m doing?! Even if it’s fake, just try to show that you have empathy. Oh, ooops, this isn’t the crown of olden days- burn and churn they shall…

Huh, this round of layoffs is a mess? Thought they would get better at it as they go. Someone once told me a few years back that they only way for cc to grow was through reduction in work force. Seemed odd at the time but if you think of all the worthless people that fill in crown it started making sense. Or did it, actually don’t care this whole company should be dismantled and dissolved it in nothing that it once was.

Most likely your manager already knows and can’t face you or has checked out. My manager also ghosted our team the same way before the August layoffs and we were all let go (so was he). I’m sorry everyone is going through this. It’s an awful experience.
