How can't we be sure there'll be no more layoffs tomorrow?

And the sweep is not over...
The Question is: when is the next round ?
The layoffs happened one day before Mick had his investors meeting where he explained the cuts were done to free up money to reinvest in other parts of the business, yet he just had a 19% pay increase and they just acquired another company in June while the stock value keeps dropping. I think this was the first wave and more layoffs will come.
Listen to your leadership and trust what they say!
We definitely laid off good people but on flipside, we still have a lot of good people left. End of the day, ResMed is still overall a good firm going through same kind of things happening elsewhere. The other medtechs probably cull every year and the tech firms every 6 months....it is definitely a sad few days for us.

Follow-on corrections are common. Have to understand that usually first round is not deep enough to effect the right size for the correction; also the tech market in general is also in a downturn phase.
I’m worried as well. Andrew price said something to the tune of we’re at the right size but not the right shape.. more changes to come.. I don’t think the sweep is over. My brain is also rattled by how or who decided to let go of the people that were let go. I lost some team members and it just doesn’t make sense.
I can't help but worry.
