Thread regarding ExxonMobil Corp. layoffs

LinkedIn Post

I do not understand how XOM Employees are liking and commenting positive gestures for LinkedIn post in BTC or any other Technology Center. They are taking away your jobs. Have some pride people.

Does it bother me that the company is outsourcing sure but I have enough skills to move within the company or out. The main issue is the lack of quality in anything they are outsourcing to Btc or kltc but upper management doesn’t know how bad the work is because they are being lied to. The managers responsible for this excercise in futility are painting this project gold if you get what I’m saying. The bad part is these managers that are misrepresenting the truth will probably never get caught and keep on getting promoted.

LinkedIn has become brown nose central for all the wannabe middle manager.

They’d sell their grandmother if they could get one step ahead in the ExxonMobil whack a mole game. So a couple of likes on LinkedIn is hardly an issue in their soulless worship of material need.

Reminds me of the Lego Movie

Everything is awesome
Everything is cool when you're part of a team
Everything is awesome
When you're living out a dream
Everything is better when we stick together
Side by side, you and I are gonna win forever
Let's party forever
We're the same, I'm like you, you're like me
We are working in harmony

Wake up people

LinkedIn is a cesspool now. As bad as FB or the artist formerly known as twitter. I deleted my LinkedIn account a while ago. I’m a little bit happier because of it.
