Confirmed, quite a few that have been with the company for over a decade have been let go in the past few weeks and on 10/26

I am in payment integrity and got laid off Thursday
UHC Optum Tech team across Provider, E&I and C&S.
Damn, this scares me as i'm also a SWE here @ Optum. What was your salary and YoE? They're probably laying off ones who have a higher-than-average salary. Sorry to hear abt that.
Got my notice this week. Software engineer in OCM, replaced with offshore contractors.
Seems more areas were affected. A few people in RX were let go. I wonder if next Thursday other areas will be affected.
Talent acquisition also deeply affected across the org.
UHCT: UHC Tech, within Optum Tech. Slightly confusing naming structure, but it is an org within Optum, not UHC
6 in Optum laid off today.
UhcT - is that uhc tech?
UHCT E&I started today
OH Tech has started today. Hang on and know all will land. This day is never easy.
Do we know the areas being impacted? Is it UHG or Optum specifically?
Yes, 1 person from my team got RIF'd today.
UHC Tech
Any in UHC?
I’m a recruiter and got the dreaded 15 minute invite with the director for 10/26. Pretty sure it’s a layoff
Yup. Three clinics are set to meet tomorrow in the Tampa area. Theyre set to close early at around 7 pm, and its a Thursday which is known as "bad news day". So sad for the employees that have families and have been with the company for so long.
What else is new? Stop worrying about something beyond your control. Show up, do a good job, go home.
As much as it’s hurting: Use that pain to try, results will follow. Easier said on from other side (probably). Get up!!!!!!!!
I sorry to hear that. Hopefully not Lakeland.
yes I currently work at a MedExpress in Florida and 3 or the clinics are to close early for a mandatory staff meeting tomorrow. The last time this occurred a center closed. Managers wont say anything but we all know we're being let go.
