Is Ko-Aid like the off brand Dr Thunder of Koolaid?
Making banking worse and emoloyees lives even worse off.
Thanks for posting that video. Everyone should see it. That was in May 2012 and those SoaBs are still the same. 900 HSBC employees fired in 1 day. It has that fake crying red headed greedy CEO all over it.
I remember this, such a PR nightmare. After all the onboarding talk of doing good and always the right thing.
I left last year, but started at Capital One right after it started. I saw how the company changed. Until about 2000 it was not like this. When things really started to change was when they did a mass redeployment of the older people. I knew many of them and they were great employees, however, they were older. Those people successfully sued Capital One for age discrimination. It just got worse from there, but Capital One gathered their lawyers and made sure they could continue without being sued. I dealt with a lot of discrimination through my long career there but I kept my mouth shut and did excellent work and saved and invested. It was not a pleasant career but I did leave last year with what most would consider wealthy. Not because they paid me a lot of money, but because I was smart with what I made and did not need the biggest house or the most expensive cars. If I had to do it again, I would have left many years ago, but I just decided I would outlast that place. If they let you go, take them money and run.
That video was hilarious.
