Seems to be that Centene is becoming a revolving door for executives, the company under these " new leaders" Sarah/ Drew , they has so little to show performance wise that all they have left is to announce new executives and silently get rid off of the others , that in many cases had been doing a superb job, and " realignment of strategy" as if that was going to make any difference or better. On the contrary, it creates more instability, more fear, more l trepidation, nothing gets fully executed, what is the fate of the new Chief Growth Officer? I guess growing the company? Aren't people doing that already in the markets in the different line of business? aren't we try to save money by laying off people and focusing on existing business?
Just wondering aren't they trying to play the race card as it seems they did with Anika? Out after 5 months in the newly created job, Is this person one of those DEI appointees? Or is he going to take Centene to that next stage of growth? who knows. It is just hard to know what happened in Centene, because nothing makes sense, it is kind of fun to watch though, more and less like squid games

Centene is setting itself up for sale..starting with overseas companies selling off as part of their strategy. You must know see the writing on the wall...! Centene is not going to stay in the game, the execs and board are setting themselves up for sale in next two years. ST. LOUIS, Aug. 28, 2023 /PRNewswire/ -- Centene Corporation (NYSE: CNC), a leading healthcare enterprise committed to helping people live healthier lives, announced today that it has signed a definitive agreement to sell Circle Health Group ("Circle Health"), one of the U.K.'s largest independent operators of hospitals, to PureHealth, the largest integrated healthcare network in the Middle East. The transaction reflects Centene's continued execution of its value creation efforts as the company refocuses its portfolio on core lines of business. The enterprise value is approximately $1.2B, inclusive of debt assumed
If Centene goes into year 3 with Sarah there will be no company. I would let her go with her millions to sell failed start ups and do poetry, who had the great idea that she was any good for that job, beyond crazy
They need a new CEO asap, that one was a gamble to start with, and it is just turning out to be a bad bet, not sure why the board has not acted yet.
Sarah london is a fraud, listening to that earnings call, she has to read a poem of lenghty words before asnwering a question, a lot things said that are just false and inconsistent with reality and everybody knows that. She has been captivated by the DEI agenda and the mean group of cheerleader girls from HR instead of working with the peoples leader and has made thing way worse, what can you expect from someone that has not even run a health plan, what a sh---y way to run a company
Company is a mess and I am so glad I didn't get an offer after WellCare was picked up. As a shareholder now, the company is in sorry shape and all the upheaval in the past two years is not exactly what was expected. Post MFN, all the rats are out of the woodwork and London is way over her skis. If Walgreens can boot their diversity CEO hire and find a quality CEO in 2 months, CNC can.
It looks like Anika is with Ardent Health now.
