I have worked for DXS for many years and my experience is that even if you are recognized by your manager, but you cannot make a 2-day job in a 6-month (or more) project like your colleagues, your name will appear on the next layoff list.

We are a company of useless people and hanging around here expecting wfr or moonlighting somewhere else, while a cozy bunch of execs post in LinkedIn about tech debt and collect pretty good dough. The losers are the shareholders and God bless them.
Agreed there's so many ballshitters and rse lickers who do the talking butcan deliver anything.
As you say if you deliver you will get screwed over, that s company is well bent, and the managers just focus on cuts. Don't over deliver they don't want you to do extra work, they don't want to pay for it, even if it means the project fails they are happy if they can cut cost. Its the blind leading the blind.
