Thread regarding Nationwide (Insurance and Financial Services) layoffs

Lying about best places to work

Nationwide boasts its rankings as a top 5 place to work. Don't believe it. Continual layoffs and the company seems to be poor in their financial results. Only response to poor financial results is to layoff claims people and hire more VPs.

It’s been a rocking boat the entire time I’ve been with the company. I would expect this lack of stability from a small company, not a massive one.

As I’m in P&C I will await with bated breath.

I have no idea what department you work for or why you are saying this. Let the record be clear that there are no layoffs at Nationwide at this time.

If anyone is aware of a layoff let them post the department and approximate number of people affected. Financial results were strong this year and competitor carriers are in crisis mode.
