This needs to stop
We are understaffed. I don't know if this is the case for everybody, but it certainly is for my team and I'm going to assume that this is one of the things most of us have in common. They can't just keep taking away more and more people and expect the rest of us to still get the job done. It's enough.

My sister is in retail, happening everywhere. As long as they feel they have the upper hand, they’ll get away with grinding people as hard as they can.
It's happening almost everywhere, and they love to call this BS as "running lean", "deliberate hiring", or some other corporate jargon. It's affecting our team and the other teams around us and is not sustainable. The restaurant industry is a great exhibit for this, no longer can they pay their workers substandard wages and expect a full staff, some deservedly went under. Companies like USAA do pay better wages but when one sees that we're losing people and money while the CEO gets 157% raise, something will have to give.
