You saw a 4K TV at Costco with beautiful images playing. It was so impressive that you decided to buy it. Once connected at your home, you realize the images of your TV shows are not as sharp as they were at Costco. That's because in order for you to watch TRUE 4K, the content you are playing or watching must be filmed in 4K. My smartphone has 5G capability. Does that mean I can get a 7G connection? No. Because my smartphone can only go as high as 5G. I need a 7G level phone to reach that 7G peak. Consumers should be made aware of this. At this time, I would rather have Fiber to the Home instead of this overinflated device.

Just shows that there are a lot of dim bulbs at Lumen. First 6G (generation) is about 10 years out from deployment. 7G maybe closer to 20. All cell service uses the POTS network. 5G cell service and FTTH are basically identical as far as structure. Maybe Kate can suggest a book to explain what we provide.
The garbage 5G networks with even more dead zones than 3G/4G?
Nonsense spoken by non-technical person
Great!
Lol fixed line service is stone age! How are you planning on reaching all the customers outside of our territory? And how are you going to slow down Verizon, AT&T, & T-mobile from taking what few customers we have with their 5g networks in our areas? Also factor in the big cable companies like Comcast are tied heavily to those 3 companies. So they resell & use each other's networks. Don't forget Elon's money and Starlink as competition.
Face the facts, whichever CEO or company brought to this magical Lumen party of Disruption. Truly none of them had good vision for the future. USWEST had a wireless network within our 14 states, but our board of directors were bought off to merge with Qwest. And that network was sold to Verizon for long distance (insert laughing emoji). Someone needs to start a bankruptcy date pool on via engage
Fiber to the home is the best option if it is ever available your area. Otherwise 5G can be very fast if you live in an area that has it.
It's Lumen prepping for the 12th industrial revolution. This is truly the way to lead the tech industry and shape the future! Build it and they will come, just like.... edge. oh yea, they didn't come admitted the SLT.
Maybe we should have a little shorter horizon and concentrate on surviving the next couple years.
This person definitely doesn't understand 4G, 5G, 7G
Sounds like he was the one complained "Where's my HD"? Daa! You need HD content first. 😆
