Most of the cut will be in US, Texas and California. High cost.

I think every location in all departments will eventually get layoffs. Even those that are currently making a small profit for the company.
In order for the company to make money, more data needs to be transferred through the pipes (cables, wireless, etc). Every household need to have something like 20 devices on 24/7 with live video games being played and/or huge file downloads and uploads.
The two years during covid was perhaps the peak of data transfer since everyone was home on their devices at least 16/7. I don't think we will see this type of data throughput again anytime soon. Hence, the continuing layoffs for the next three years and then AI takes over majority of the jobs.
Instead of the recommended six months of emergency savings people should have, it's going to be like six years of emergency savings soon.
