This is all terrible.
All of it.
It's still a business.
They are doing what a business does.
Tries to survive, if not thrive.
They are doing what they "think" they need to do to survive.
The decisions being made are by the same people who landed them in this situation.
So just try your best to get something better (probably outside of the industry is ideal)
...and watch how well these decisions turn out in a few years, if you still think about Crown by then.
The sad thing is, that by the time these new great solutions fail, the one's that orchestrated it all will be long-gone, new corporate jobs, huge nest eggs, and not be thinking twice about Crown, or the workers damaged.
Try your best to look ahead, because the past gone. What you hoped and trusted, didn't work out. Many are hurt more than others, it's not easy, but talking of any attempted retaliations is just venting, hopefully everyone tries to be more healthy and just accept that you had good pay and great perks as long as it lasted. Some 30 years, some 3 years like me. I wish it could have been longer, but now I'm not waiting every day for the axe to drop. Make more. Work from home. It's not 'fun' like Crown was, but a much better career path/benefits.
Houston will have to deal with what they create. Success or Failure.
Focus on family and planning ahead, as best you can.
