Has anyone else been told their position is being reclassified from salaried to hourly? If so, does anyone know if this is accompanied by a pay cut? I'm also nervous that this reclassification is partially to add more roles to the chopping block for future layoffs.

The move from salary to hourly is to eliminate bonuses.
I was moved from salary to hourly a few years ago. There was no change in pay. It was difficult trying to adjust and squeeze my workload into 40 hours a week since overtime was not allowed and I couldn’t work off the clock. I no longer had the opportunity to work evenings or a few hours on the weekend to do any catch-up from heavy meeting days.
