How transparent and open to discussing the reductions in force has Allstate been? Its bad for those impacted and hard for those still at the company. Isn’t transparency a key behavior performance item? Isn’t it a key culture component?

To be transparent takes some level of courage. Allstate senior leadership is full of cowards and gutless worms. There is almost zero confidence from the Allstate workforce for these worthless beings.
Over the last 5 years, senior leadership naively believed that failing to communicate transparently was a better alternative than alarming all employees, many of which would not be impacted directly. Of course, that failure kept all employees in limbo and wondering when they would be next in line, leading to high levels of disengagement and lack of trust/confidence in leadership.
This company can't do anything right and certainly not with any dignity. This is why they are in the disgraced position they are in. Utter failures the senior leadership are in this company. They are so far out of their league.
You ain’t gon know NUFFIN til it’s your turn, boyo! Even then Allstate comes like a thief in the night. Last time people received fedex boxes to return they equipment BEFORE they were told they got canned! Allstate bungles the layoffs just like they do everything
This was all about job band and salary to get to a number. They don’t care about employees, they care about the bottom line. Dust off your resumes and save your money…it’s about to get real…
Purposely being secretive as possible. The layoffs in 2023 are likely in excess with 2020 if you count the "lift and shift" employees to the vendors.
And we still have a week or two of cuts to come at least.
What is this "key behavior performance" and "key culture component" you speak of? They don't read their reviews. They don't care. They care about the stock price... speaking of that it's up 8% this week...
It’s been terribly silent. Not acknowledging it is not a good look.
They have NOT been transparent and any employee of Allstate should run before all the other jobs get filled at profitable insurers!
