Poor Managers

What a laugh, the manager today came out with a statements that didn't make any sense to 400+ folks, he was rude and thought he was right in his arrogant style, virtually laughing at people.

This type of manager is ruining the company. They don't possess the skills or experience required in senior positions. They should be replaced or put on a traing course.

@1wyg+1pYsXqBv. I’m curious to know who this was and where did they end up? Does anyone know?

He is allowed to say, what he has to say. 2nd amendment freedom of speech. if speech crosses in to conduct that violates DXC HR policies and will be dealt with severely.

Give us some clue. Who was this clown? Was it a townhole?

Not surprised at all. Most DXC managers have no clue, they are all just biding their time. We have meetings where in there are 35 people and they all talking about one stupid app which runs on a single VM. Sad story at dxc.

The management don't care - the staff don't care. I don't dare say anything to my manager incase he flips a lid that I asked for something to help me do my job better e.g. access to a server. Meanwhile they pay us all to achieve very little because we're all blocked by out of date processes, systems and resources. Stock answer, we're all very busy. Come back sometime never.

In my over two and a half decades in the IT industry, I've collaborated with a multitude of managers across multiple regions. Notably, a manager from ANZ was remarkably talented, easily ranking within my top three. Sadly, he left the organisation four weeks ago, citing family reasons. However, I suspect underlying frustrations with the Oracle Practice's senior leadership may have also played a role. His leadership and managerial skills were outstanding, yet it seemed they were not fully acknowledged, possibly even perceived as intimidating by the senior leadership team. It’s a shame we don’t have more managers like this within DXC.
