130K Employees…. Many Diminishing Returns

Something will have to change. Pat has little time left and I think he is trying to avoid being the one to cut HC by 50%.

Not sure if he has time to spare on this… 2 years from now NVIDIA will be 150B per year, AMD 50B and Intel will be lucky to be at 40B.

All those people and no good ideas? Always behind the curve?

Intel will need to reduce HC to align with other foundry/competitors, but it won't be anywhere near what people are speculating. Intel will definitely regain Market share, improving margins and will also adjust their high cost/low cost geo mix to align more closely with benchmarks. EOR

@1fcs you must be HR trying to deflect. Racism! No. The point is split into mgmt, design, manufacturing. Subtract Apple, TSMC equivalent roles. You are left over with extra employees.

Pat is a fake it till you are exposed, sadly Intel won’t make it but being an epic case study for HBR of a technical failure that could have been avoided

People at the top do have ideas, on how to retire with a golden parachute, yes. They just don't really give a single f*ck about the company's future.
